Can You Live Without Your Car For A Day?
Car Free Day, an event promoting better air
quality and the health benefits of car-free
travel, will be held on Wednesday, September
22, 2004.
Promoting mass transit, walking, cycling, etc.,
participants will meet on the North side
of the Statehouse in downtown Columbus
from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a Car Free Day
Celebration!
The event will include a press
conference with local elected officials, prize
drawings sponsored by Baer Wheels, COTA, MORPC,
RideSolutions and sponsor information tables.
